Bowen’s Carriage Homes District
Bowen’s Sarah’s Court District will be located in the heart of Bowen, “A Waterfront Village” where residents and homeowners can enjoy living with a focus on simplicity, beauty, and walkability. These homes borrow designs from Lowcountry homes that you find in historic downtown Charleston. The open floorplans range from under 1,500 to nearly 2,000 square feet, with two to three stories, and ornate exterior and interior details to replicate the grandeur and custom look of what people love so much about Charleston style architecture.
The first Sarah’s Court residences will be available as soon as Spring 2019, with price points starting in the $200s. Homeowners will be able to enjoy what Bowen has to offer, with the new cafe Brew under construction in the heart of the Bowen Market district. We will be announcing other businesses, coming soon to Bowen Market in the near future. The Bowen Market is only a three-minute walk!
The Founder’s Pool (for Bowen property owners) and Wrenn Park, featuring a 1,000 feet section of the Waterway Walk are underway. Efforts are also ongoing to permit and construct the boat landing and community docks at the Bowen Waterfront. The new Bowen’s Corner Elementary School just opened in 2018 and is within walking distance on the new City of Hanahan trail system.
Sarah’s Court will be situated directly beside the Founder’s Pool and Skipper Plaza (an open park), both of which will front Bowen Corner Avenue, close to Wrenn Park. The individual home sites are Charleston Single and Double architectural styles with just enough room for private outdoor enjoyment (see Sarah’s Court site plan and street rendering) such as a courtyard or flower and herb garden. This custom lifestyle will be without the burdens of consuming yard maintenance, and homeowners can enjoy the immediate access to sidewalks, trails, and parks for exercise, recreation, or meditation. Bowen provides a live, work, play lifestyle with events and activities throughout the year, proximity to community centers, and much more.
